Two Belgian cutouts at L aNeige Belgians have served as a landmark and will remain in the memory of many. Symbolizing the generations of dogs, breeders, and friendships that grew from Pat's vision.
"A legacy built through passion, preserved through dedication, and carried forward through those who follow."
The history of La Neige cannot be shared without recognizing the extraordinary contributions of Patricia "Pat" Snow. Through decades of dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment to the Belgian Sheepdog breed, Pat leaves an enduring mark on countless dogs, breeders, exhibitors, and friends.
Pat has been more than a breeder. A mentor, teacher, advocate, and steward of the breed she loves so deeply. Her knowledge has been freely shared, her standards uncompromising, and her passion inspiring. “It’s in the details” Through her breeding program, guidance, and friendships, she helped preserve the qualities that define the breed while fostering a community built on respect, sportsmanship, and lifelong learning.
The dogs she bred and co-bred stand as a testament to her dedication, but her greatest legacy will live on in the people she encouraged, the friendships she nurtured, and the love of the breed she instilled in others. Many of us were fortunate to learn at her side, celebrate victories with her, and share in the countless stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments that accompanied a life devoted to dogs.
As we preserve the photographs, pedigrees, memories, and accomplishments that make up this history, we do so with profound gratitude. While Pat's passing will leave a void that can never truly be filled, her influence remains woven into every generation that follows.
This historical archive is dedicated to her memory, her vision, and the remarkable legacy she leaves behind. May future generations come to appreciate not only the dogs she produced, but also the passion, integrity, and generosity that defined the woman behind them.
Pat Snow will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever honored.
